TAPING AND JOINTING

We specialise in professional taping and jointing services and have over 25 years of industry experience using both hand and machine methods.

We have specialised in modular buildings, working on projects for companies including Caledonian, Premier, and Algeco. 

We work alongside a small, experienced team of tapers who are fully skilled in delivering high-quality finishes across both large and small-scale projects. 

In addition, we are closely linked with Johns Group Ltd, a painting company that we regularly subcontract with when they require support on modular building projects.

COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC JET WASHING

Our jet washing services include all aspects of cleansing and property maintenance, including pressure washing, steam cleaning, driveway cleaning, patio cleaning, jet washing, graffiti removal and waste removal.

We provide services for domestic and commercial clients and maintain a large portfolio of regular clients, including B&M Stores and NIC Group Services.

  • With KD Kirk Limited every project concludes with a structured and transparent handover process. We utilise a ‘Completion Handover Sheet’, which is signed by a client or customer representative to confirm that the works have been delivered to a satisfactory standard.

    Regardless of the project’s size or complexity, this process is a key part of our commitment to quality, accountability, and meeting contractual obligations for all parties involved.

  • All KD Kirk operatives recognise that health and safety is a top priority in every working environment, whether undertaking jetwashing or taping and jointing works.

    As a company working across commercial and public sectors, we maintain appropriate levels of Public and Employers’ Liability insurance. All operatives are fully trained, certified, and DBS-checked where required, and are competent in the safe use of specialist equipment, including high-pressure washing systems and jointing tools.

    We strictly adhere to COSHH regulations, with safety data sheets available for all cleaning agents, sealants, jointing compounds, and treatment products used. Comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) can be provided for every project, ensuring all works are carried out safely, responsibly, and in full compliance with current regulations.
